Attie van Biljon the owner of AVB Conversions started fitting Lexus V8 engines in almost any
vehicle that a customers heart can desire. From Nissan Hardbody's to Mercedes sprinters.
Many years ago we decided that the Land Cruiser deserved a decent engine
that has better towing ability and better fuel consumption than what the current
engines at that time had to offer. We decided to fit the Toyota D4d 3.0 engine with big success.
Unfortunately it became impossible to find D4d engines with low mileage on them so we had to make a new plan.
Luckily Toyota produced a new engine that is equally reliable. The very much trusted Toyota Gd6 2.4 and 2.8 engine.
For the past 5 years we have been,installing the Gd6 2.4 and 2.8
engines with big success.
